Life After SABIS®
Rachel Jaber

"I enrolled in ISC-Choueifat as a 4th grader in 2007 and graduated in 2016.

I am currently a junior at Yale, where I major in molecular biochemistry and biophysics. During my time at Yale, I have served as co-president of Yale Global Medical Brigades and conference chair for the Yale Arab Student Association, where I helped organize the first Yale Arab Conference, Amalna. I am also very involved with Yale UNICEF and am the incoming co-president for the 2018-2019 academic year. This summer, I received the Yale College Dean's Science Fellowship to support my research internship at the Yale Medical School Neuro-Genetics Department.

My time at SABIS® and involvement with the SABIS Student Life Organization® were essential in instilling in me organizational and time-management skills, in addition to social awareness. I learned the mportance of giving back and community engagement, both of which continue to influence my choices as a college student."
