SABIS® PPP STUDENT OPENS HER FIRST ART GALLERY

Date: Wednesday, February 27, 2019

On Thursday, November 1, 2018, Speda Amamji, a Grade 4 student at Sarwaran International school, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, celebrated the opening of her first art gallery. Speda has always been passionate about art and having the opportunity to host an exhibition at school was a true honor for her.

Having recognized her talent early on, teachers at Sarwaran encouraged Speda to follow her dream and open her first gallery at school. Under the guidance and supervision of her art teacher, Speda prepared over 80 paintings in both oil paint and water color to display at her first exhibition.

Teachers, family, and friends were present on the day to cut the ribbon, officially opening the exhibition. Kurdish media stations were also present to interview Speda on her fantastic accomplishment.

The teachers and staff of Sarwaran are very proud of Speda. The gallery is not only a celebration of her commitment and talent, but also an inspiration to her fellow students to follow their dreams.

We would like to congratulate Speda on her fantastic achievement!
