I know my daughter is getting the best possible education I can provide for her. The education she is getting is at the standards of a private school education.

Holyoke Community Charter School makes a great effort to bring parents up to date with school issues and they value parent input and take concerns seriously.

I alluded to Student Life in an interview for 2 different things (one for a job, one for a student group at university) and I got into both! This is exciting because freshmen aren’t usually so special. Thought you should know that people are quite interested in Student Life!

I have been working for the SABIS® network in various positions for 9 years. I have appreciated the education provided by SABIS® to students not only as a member of the staff but also as a parent. As an educator I enjoy the challenges, I appreciate the philosophy of the company (education above profit), and I feel that I am a member of a big family who shares experiences and takes very careful steps in the direction of the benefit of the school community.

I am a parent of a 4th grader, Jordan who has attended ISM since preschool. ISM is certainly part of our family. As a parent it is the neatest experience to walk through the school and realize that almost every teacher knows your child by name. As a parent this tells me that she can turn to any adult at and get what she needs. THAT IS AMAZING. It also speaks to the high level of commitment the staff and teachers have at ISM.

Many educators have touched the life of my child. I feel that Holyoke Community Charter School has impacted my child like no one else has. The SABIS® approach has helped my child to acquire organizational skills, has helped her to read, and overall has made her feel that she is a valuable part of the school.

I value the Spanish curriculum at IAS. It is the best requirement that a kid can have. The Spanish gives them a big head start on life and future education and jobs. I am very pleased with the school and would highly recommend the program to families with children in other schools and districts. The curriculum will help my son excel to the top one day.

It was a great visit. I hope you are terribly proud of that school. We saw the SABIS® educational system working on all cylinders... In the rooms we visited, across the grades, we saw consistently strong instruction delivered by able teachers who are deeply committed to the SABIS® methods, to the school, and to each other. We also saw perfect behavior throughout the day. We were amazed by the longevity of teachers there--several we met had been there nearly since the school opened--unheard of in charter schools, and persuasive evidence of the unique sustainability and scalability of the model.

Being at ISF has been a great experience, sharing with people from different countries and cultures. It is a good opportunity to learn from teachers from all over the world.
Hurtado Family, ISF - June 01, 2007
My children have had a very good experience at ISF -- academically and socially.

I am so totally impressed with the efforts that are put forth by the staff and administration to help our children succeed both academically and in citizenship.
The quality of teaching is phenomenal. I love that the teachers are there to help the kids succeed in school and in life. I recommend this school to all of my friends and family. This is the best school ever.
SABIS® has high expectations for my children's learning. They have good discipline and the teachers at the school help my children work toward achieving their full potential.
I value the tough curriculum. The SABIS® curriculum is one of the best in town.
ISM is composed of so many caring individuals who not only strive to provide academic excellence, but seek to foster a sense of family and community.
Adeline Thompson - ISM Receptionist and parent
For those who have stayed at ISM through high school - IT'S WORTH IT! With the great academics and discipline, I am completely prepared for college. ISM treats its underclassmen like college students. We are also empowered through the Student Life Organization.
Salman Dar - ISM Senior
I value the advanced and challenging curriculum, which includes Spanish as a second language and homework on a daily basis.
I truly am happy with the grading, academics and overall how accelerated the learning is.
