ISC-Erbil Reaches 1000 Student Mark
The 1000 students of ISC-Erbil gathered to celebrate the strength in their numbers and the start of the 2009-10 academic year. Having begun operation in September 2006 with 220 students, the school is enjoying its rapid growth and attributing it to the successful implementation of the SABIS® Educational System.
“We are so pleased to have achieved the 1000 student mark,” commented ISC-Erbil Director, Dr. Humaira Bokhari. “This growth comes undoubtedly from positive word of mouth about what our students are accomplishing through SABIS®.”

As a member of the SABIS® School Network, ISC-Erbil implements the SABIS® Educational System, a program at the forefront of global education. With its balance of academics, self-development, and life preparation, the SABIS® Educational System gives students an edge in facing life's challenges and equips students with the tools to succeed in the future.
ISC-Erbil is situated on a new campus on the Erbil-Salahaddin road in Kurdistan, Iraq. The state-of-the-art campus, which can house up to 2,500 students, includes an indoor, semi-Olympic sized swimming pool, athletics track, football pitch, and basketball courts, as well as modern classrooms, an Integrated Testing and Learning Hall, laboratories for the sciences and IT, a library, and staff accommodation.
